No time to make it to the bank to deposit that check? With HOMEBANK’S Mobile Check Capture tool within the mobile banking app, you can now deposit your check anytime, anywhere. Use your smart phone to take a picture of the front and the back of the check and submit the deposit – it’s as easy as that!

Q. Will this work on a windows phone?
A. No. Our app is not compatible with a windows phone.
Q. Will the deposit show in my account right away?
A. No. Depending on volume, the deposit may not show in the account for a few hours. Deposits made after 5pm through 10am the next morning may not show in the memo balance until 11am. Deposits made on weekends beginning at 5pm on Friday will not be memo posted to your account until after 10am on Monday.
Q. What should I do with a check once I deposited it through the app?
A. We ask that you keep the checks for 90 days. After 90 days the checks may be shredded. We also ask that you write mobile deposit on the back of the check after the deposit is made.
Q. Do I still have to endorse the back of the check?
A. Yes. Just like any other deposit, the check must be endorsed.
Q. How many deposits can I make it a day?
A. There is no limit on the number of checks you can deposit each day.
Q. Is there a fee?
A. No. There is no fee when making a deposit to a checking or savings account.
Q. Can I see an image of the checks I have deposited?
A. No. The check images are not stored anywhere on the device.
Q. What type of checks can be deposited through Mobile Check Capture?
A. Generally you can deposit the same types of checks that you deposit at a branch location. There are, however, limits on the amount of the check. Checks drawn on an institution outside of the U.S. are not accepted through Mobile Check Capture.
Q. How many checks can be included in one deposit?
A. Deposits can only include one check at a time; however, multiple deposits may be submitted each day.
Q. When can deposits be submitted?
A. Deposits can be submitted 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Deposits made by 5pm Monday-Friday, will be processed the same day. Checks deposited after 5pm and on weekends will be processed the next business day.
Q. Is there a limit on the amount of the check I can deposit?
A. Yes. The limit per item is $10,000.00. Higher limits may be approved under certain circumstances. Access to funds may be delayed based on the balance of the account at the time of the deposit.
